The Cathedral Academy at Pompei currently has about 100 students enrolled in the 2009-2010 school year, with 50% Afro-American, 10% Asian, 5% Hispanic, 25% Caucasian and 1% Native American. As Father Paul Angelicchio indicates, we have a "Festival of Nations". The children have come to understand and appreciate different languages and cultures while learning Christian values.

Through the help of our supporters, the Guardian Angel Society "Sponsor A Student" program continues to make it possible for children to attend this unique school who otherwise, could not afford to do so. It also provides scholarships for our 6th grade graduates, helping them to continue on to a Catholic junior/senior high school of their choice (Bishop Grimes, Bishop Ludden, Christian Brothers Academy). These supporters financially assist an at-risk student giving them a better chance at life.
