The Cathedral Academy at Pompei currently has over 152 students enrolled in the 2006-2007 school year, with 52% Afro-American, 9% Asian, 5% Hispanic and 34% Caucasian. There are 35% Roman Catholic and the other 65% are from a variety of religious backgrounds. Around 70% come from below poverty level income homes.

The Guardian Angel Society currently has a dozen supporters who "Sponsor A Student" at Cathedral Academy at Pompei for one year. These supporters financially assist an at-risk student giving them a better chance at life who otherwise would not able to afford.
