Swinging Sweet Cabaret – This annual evening affair is held in mid-February at the Oncenter
offering a pasta extravaganza, scrumptious antipasto bar, mouth watering chocolate fountain and
an array of elegant desserts. Entertainment provided by the entire Mario DeSantis Orchestra
featuring Maria DeSantis, Joe Whiting, Isreal Hagan, and Keith Condon along with a brief
“swing” dance lesson by the professional Arthur Murray dance studio. Hours of the event are
7:30 p.m.- midnight. Tickets are $125 for Two or $75.00 per ticket. Last year's event sold out
with over 600 guests attending.

Camillus Memorial Day 5K Race – This annual event is held on Memorial Day in the Village
of Camillus. Sponsors support Father Joseph Champlin in this 5K run. In collaboration with
a local fine dining establishment, The Inn Between Restaurant, a “Dinner for Two” certificate
is issued ($75.00 value) for any donations $75.00 or more. This fund raiser attracts over
400 contributors averaging $30,00 for the Society.

Fishing for Dollars
The Results Group will be partnering with Father Champlin’s Guardian Angel Society for the
5th Annual Fishing For Dollars Tournament to benefit the Society. The event will be held
at Onondaga Lake. Cash pay-out prizes total $30,000. Winners every hour.

Syracuse Arts & Crafts Festival – Held annually in downtown Syracuse in July, the Guardian Angel
Society has a booth set-up outside its office for this three-day event. The goal is to advertise the
efforts of the Guardian Angel Society as well as sell some retail “angel” items to benefit the
disadvantaged children from below poverty income to attend Cathedral Academy at Pompei.

Where?: Visit the Guardian Angel Society Booth outside the Cathedral Emergency Services &
the Guardian Angel Society office on E. Onondaga St. We will have some "angel" merchandise and Society information available.
Golf Tournament – In August, the Society in collaboration with MONEY Federal Credit Union
sponsors an annual golf tournament with a captain & crew format. This event is held at the
Links at Sunset Ridge in Marcellus. Event starts at 10:00 am and registration costs are $125
per golfer with sponsorships available. The day includes golf,cart,skins,coffee,donuts and fruit,
lunch and prime rib/chicken dinner along with many door prizes. The tournament continues to
grow: 2005 had 80 golfers with $6,700 profit, 2006 had 100 golfers with $7,500 profit and
2007 had 126 golfers with $11,300 profit. Mark your calendars for this year's 5th annual
golf tournament on Tuesday, August 11, 2009.

Annual Update & Lecture Luncheon – This annual fall event provides a brief review of the
Society and the Cathedral Academy at Pompei, plus a guest speaker/entertainer to entice the audience. This event
averages 200 to 250 attendees. Tickets are $40.00 per person or a reserved table of ten is $400.

"Christmas at the Palace" with the Mario DeSantis Orchestra – A portion of the proceeds
will benefit Father Champlin's Guardian Angel Society.

Christmas Card Mailing – The beginning of November a Christmas Card packet is mailed to all
our Guardian Angel Society supporters as a token of appreciation for their support. The card
cover is designed by one of the children of Cathedral Academy at Pompei. This endeavor
averages about $25,000 in contributions. Additional Christmas Card packets are available for sale
at $3.00 per packet which includes 6 cards with matching envelopes. See the Christmas Card link for
previous year's cards available for sale as well.
