Camillus Memorial Day 5K Race – This annual event is held on Memorial Day in the Village

of Camillus.  Sponsors support Father Joseph Champlin in this 5K run.  In collaboration with

a local fine dining establishment, The Inn Between Restaurant, a “Dinner for Two” certificate

is issued ($80.00 value) for any donations $80.00 or more.  This fund raiser attracts over

400 contributors averaging $30,00 for the Society.

Syracuse Arts & Crafts Festival – Held annually in downtown Syracuse in July, the Guardian Angel

Society has a booth set-up outside its office for this three-day event.  The goal is to advertise the

efforts of the Guardian Angel Society as well as sell some retail “angel” items to benefit the

disadvantaged children from below poverty income to attend Cathedral Academy at Pompei.

the Guardian Angel Society office on E. Onondaga St. We will have some "angel" merchandise and Society information available.

 

 

Golf Tournament – In August, the Society in collaboration with MONEY Federal Credit Union

sponsors an annual golf tournament with a captain & crew format.  This event is held at the

Links at Sunset Ridge in Marcellus.  Event starts at 10:00 am and registration costs are $125

per golfer with sponsorships available.  The day includes golf,cart,skins,coffee,donuts and fruit,

lunch and prime rib/chicken dinner along with many door prizes. The hole-in-one contest is sponsored

by Crest Cadillac-Acura. One lucky golfer could win a Cadillac CTS! The tournament continues to

grow. With over 130 golfers, this efficiently run tournament generated nearly $15,000 in profit in 2010.

Mark your calendars for this year's 7th annual golf tournament on Tuesday, August 9, 2011.
